She was a stay at home mom before entering as a professional in the education industry & the classroom.  Having spent her entire career in education, she has developed a deep-rooted concern and understanding of what is happening in education on the federal, state, local, and classroom level.

Debra personal belief is that every child can learn and deserves a quality education. She also believes that it takes administration, teachers, parents, and students to make a successful educational experience. She emphasizes, "We all must be held accountable and do our parts to succeed in this global economy. Education is the answer for our future leaders and it must become a priority in this country to remain a global leader in the 21st century.
